Cherry-Vision is a body of work being made over 2025–26 for a solo ceramics exhibition at the Scottish Ceramics Gallery, Aberdeen. The premise is simple. 1400°C is the temperature at which stoneware vitrifies. It's also the temperature at which most decisions stop being reversible.
The work continues my multanni mitti practice — Pakistani earthenware clay fired alongside British stoneware, two material traditions that share a kiln but not a memory. New pieces extend the slip-stripe technique into larger forms, and introduce digital-source surface work that's translated through hand process.
Full case study, documentation, and exhibition photography will be added here as the work develops. For preview enquiries, gallery requests, or to be notified when the show opens — get in touch.
